Chiaro
Dear Jan,
As Paul and I sit outdoors under our lovely vine covered pergola with Chiaro next to my chair, enjoying this glorious autumn weather. I thought I had better let you know how things are going.
In one word " great"; Chiaro has settled in really well, he has calmed down, feels very much at home in his new surroundings and is very affectionate.
The only downside was his occasional snapping when he gets excited and that was easily fixed but needs to be kept control of as we have five grandchildren, he is a great dog, playful, loving, very intelligent and quick to learn.
He makes a lovely companion for us two elderly people.
Thanks again Jan for finding him for us and to Jenny and Gary for letting him be rehoused. We hope meet Jenny and Gary at a later stage to see him again if that is what they desire, but I would like to wait a little while until he has fully settled into our way of life.
With kind regards, Paulus & Adriana
PS. Chiaro wants to shake paws and tell you that he is much loved already and to say hello to his former owners and that he enjoys his twice a day long walks, which leaves poor me, exhausted but fit and him eager for more.
